| Julesgems has Moved Premises |
As you can see by our new address details below, we certainly haven't moved very far. So, why move at all you may ask. Well, there are quite a number of reasons for doing so. Since moving into our old building at the end of 2006, our product range has more than doubled; and because of this our warehouse has become more and more cramped. Now we want our staff to have the best possible working environment, as well as needing more space for our stock; so a bigger warehouse has been a big requirement for a while. You may know that Julesgems started life as a small Bead Shop in Cardiff back in 2002, before relocating our family (that's Jules, Rob and the not so little one) to Shrewsbury meant that we went solely mail order in 2004. Since then we've always known that one day we would re-open a 'shop' for our customers to come and browse through the beads in person. Well that's going to happen very soon in our new building, with a brand new 2000 sq foot showroom and coffee/tea room opening late July 2008. You'd think that was enough of reason, but oh no. At Julesgems we wanted to do even more for all those people out there that want to learn about jewellery making, from beginners to the seasoned professional. Since October 2007, we have been pushing the boundaries with our highly rated online jewellery tutorials on www.makebeautifuljewellery.com. So from Autumn 2008 we will be opening our brand new Make Beautiful Jewellery School. A big undertaking, but with a massive overhaul at the new site we will have a 700 sq ft teaching studio with newly installed disabled access. So as you can see, there's quite a lot still to get done.
